Art of Music Foundation, Ghetto Classics

Provided comprehensive instruction in music theory, recorder, and flute to students ranging from beginner to intermediate levels. Developed and implemented curriculum aligned with the foundation's mission. Taught students from underserved communities in Korogocho. Designed lesson plans, organized flute section rehearsals and ensemble performances, mentored students in practice techniques and musical development, and served as a role model.

Nairobi Orchestra

Lead the flute section of one of Kenya's premier professional orchestral ensembles, responsible for section leadership, interpretation decisions, and tonal concept. Perform as featured soloist and collaborate with principal players and conductor on artistic interpretation.

Conservatoire Orchestra of Nairobi

Collaborated with professional and advanced student musicians, performed a wide-ranging symphonic repertoire, participated in regular rehearsals and public performances, and developed orchestral playing, sight‑reading, and ensemble musicianship.

Kenya National Youth Orchestra (KNYO)

Selected through competitive audition, performed at national events, state functions, and ceremonies, and participated in intensive rehearsals under professional conductors.

Ghetto Classics Orchestra

Founding community member, progressed from beginner to section leader, performed in community venues and touring productions, and contributed to concerts for visiting artists and international delegations.

Silva Flute Orchestra

Founded Kenya's first dedicated flute orchestra, selected repertoire, led rehearsals, conducted performances, designed programs, organized digital resource repository, and plan long‑term sustainability and academy development.

Global Impact Circle Inc.

Engaged in weekly mentorship, monthly in‑person collaborative sessions, developed a five‑year career roadmap, built professional materials, completed a capstone project, and built skills in entrepreneurship, project management, and financial sustainability.

Bard Conservatory Project (Musicalmi)

Attended masterclasses and workshops by Bard Conservatory students, focusing on advanced flute techniques, musical expression, ensemble playing, and contemporary American conservatory teaching methods.
