Key Summary: Manuel Careers is a verified marketplace connecting job seekers and legitimate employers. Applying to jobs is free for candidates. Fraudulent postings, misleading credentials, or fee-charging by recruiters are strictly prohibited.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or creating an account on Manuel Careers, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue platform use immediately.

2. Candidate Terms & Commitments

  • Credential Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding your academic history, KCSE results, university degrees, and professional qualifications.
  • Free Application Access: Applying to jobs on Manuel Careers is always free. Any employer or intermediary soliciting money for interview placement must be reported immediately.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Employer & Recruiter Obligations

  • Verified Entity Status: Employers must represent registered businesses and submit business registration credentials upon request.
  • Genuine Openings: Every listing must correspond to an authentic, active vacancy. Multi-level marketing (MLM), upfront fee solicitations, and deceptive schemes are permanently banned.
  • Candidate Privacy: Candidate data acquired via applications must be handled in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019) and used exclusively for recruiting purposes.

4. Platform Integrity & Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to engage in:

Automated Scraping

Unauthorized scraping, data extraction, or bot crawling of candidate or job databases.

Impersonation

Misrepresenting affiliation with universities, institutions, or hiring organizations.

5. Termination & Dispute Resolution

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms. These Terms are governed by the Laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
